Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medicines accurately against authorized prescriptions and supporting safe and efficient pharmacy operations. The includes prescription review, medication dispensing, patient guidance, inventory management, medicine storage, expiry monitoring, documentation, procurement coordination, and collaboration with doctors and nursing teams while following applicable pharmacy procedures, medication safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Receive and review prescriptions according to approved pharmacy procedures.
• Dispense medicines accurately as prescribed and authorized.
• Verify medicine name, strength, dosage form, quantity, and instructions.
• Clarify prescription-related concerns with the appropriate healthcare professional.
• Provide patients with appropriate instructions regarding medicine use within professional scope.
• Monitor medicine stock levels and identify replenishment requirements.
• Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines and temperature-sensitive products.
• Monitor expiry dates and segregate expired or damaged medicines.
• Maintain required records for controlled or restricted medicines as applicable.
• Verify incoming medicines against purchase and delivery documents.
• Maintain accurate dispensing, inventory, and stock movement records.
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding medication requirements.
• Monitor temperature-sensitive medicines and maintain required records.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and pharmacy purchase teams when required.
