Job summary

Deloitte Shared Services India in Chennai seeks a hands-on Performance Testing Specialist to design and execute robust performance tests using LoadRunner and JMeter, delivering actionable bottleneck analyses.

You will collaborate with Development, DBA, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams in an Agile/DevOps environment, optimize web and API performance (REST/SOAP), and report findings with concrete recommendations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Strong understanding of Performance Testing & Performance Engineering concepts.
• Experience in Load, Stress, Endurance, Volume, and Scalability Testing.
• Expertise in performance analysis, bottleneck identification, and root cause analysis.
• Strong debugging skills across Application, Database, Middleware, and Infrastructure layers.
• Experience with monitoring/APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana.
• Good understanding of Web/API Performance Testing (REST/SOAP).
• Knowledge of SQL, Linux, and log analysis.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Work closely with Development, DBA, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare performance reports with actionable recommendations.
