Job summary

Sdna Global in Kolkata is seeking an experienced Performance Testing Specialist to design enterprise-wide strategies and scalable JMeter-based frameworks. You will build reusable accelerators, drive best practices, and lead large-scale tests across mission-critical apps.

You will analyze JVM/G C logs, mentor teams, and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high quality releases with measurable performance gains.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Apache JMeter experience.
• Architect enterprise-scale performance testing solutions.
• Lead performance initiatives across distributed systems.
• Expert knowledge of JMeter architecture and internals.
• Advanced Groovy/JSR223 scripting.
• Non-GUI and large-scale test execution experience.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise-wide performance testing strategy and standards.
• Design scalable performance testing frameworks.

• Design and execute Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance and Scalability tests.
• Perform complex test scripting, correlation and parameterization.
• Design distributed load testing frameworks.
• Execute large-scale performance tests for mission-critical applications.
• Perform root cause analysis across app, DB, middleware, infra and network.
• Analyze JVM heap/thread dumps and GC logs.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.
• Mentor and guide performance testing teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews and technical assessments.
• Review test plans, scripts and performance reports.
• Drive adoption of performance engineering standards.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement automated performance regression suites.
• Define performance quality gates and release criteria.
