Job summary

Cybage is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our Performance Testing CoE in Pune (Office). You will own end-to-end performance testing activities, from requirement analysis to reporting, ensuring optimal application performance and scalability.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in JMeter/LoadRunner/Gatling, plus experience with cloud monitoring tools, web performance analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing across enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end performance testing and test scripting.
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze performance testing requirements from stakeholders.
• Define and implement performance testing strategies, approaches, and execution plans.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain performance test scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Perform PoCs, research, and performance engineering assessments as required.
• Design and execute various performance tests including load, stress, endurance, scalability, and failover testing.
• Monitor application, server, and infrastructure performance during test execution.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations for performance improvements.
• Generate comprehensive performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, DevOps, and business teams to resolve performance issues.
• Plan, track, and manage performance testing activities, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Lead performance testing engagements independently and drive successful project outcomes.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our Performance Testing Center of Excellence (CoE). The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end performance testing activities, including requirement analysis, test strategy creation, scripting, execution, monitoring, reporting, and performance analysis. The role requires strong expertise in performance testing tools, monitoring platforms, and stakeholder management to ensure optimal application performance and scalability.

Technical and Professional Requirements

Mandatory

• Strong understanding of Performance Testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end Performance Testing implementation across enterprise applications.
• Expertise in at least one of the following performance testing tools:
• JMeter
• LoadRunner
• Gatling
