Job summary

A prominent IT services company in Bengaluru is seeking a Performance Testing Specialist with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT Load/Performance Testing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in test planning and performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter. Responsibilities include executing various performance tests, analyzing system behavior, and generating detailed status reports. Strong problem-solving and time management skills are essential. Relevant certifications like ISTQB will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT Load/Performance Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in scripting for Web HTTP Protocol, Oracle NCR, TrueClient protocol.
• Ability to analyze CPU Utilization, Memory usage, and Network usage.

Responsibilities

• Execute benchmark, load, stress, and endurance tests.

• Assume primary responsibility as Performance Testing SPOC.

Job description

• Minimum 5-7 Years of Relevant Experience in IT Load/Performance Testing.
• Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Workload Design, Test Cases Design, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.
• Expertise in Performance Testing tools using LoadRunner/JMeter
• Hands on experience on scripting for Web HTTP Protocol, Oracle NCR, TrueClient protocol
• Execute Benchmark, load, stress, endurance and other non-functional tests. Monitor application logs to determine system behavior. Address all technical issues; facilitate the resolution and necessarily follow up with Development and other cross-functional departments.
• Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection and DB Parameters and DB Reports to verify the performance of the applications.
• Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.
• Publish results and receive appropriate signoff. Prepare detail status reports, and monitoring of all defects and issues.
• Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.
• Strong problem-solving skills and very good time management skills.
• Design Performance Test Scripts for enterprise applications based on Requirements
• Participating in Performance bottleneck analysis and fixes
• Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities
• Run and manage performance test campaigns
• Communicate progress and issues through regular Status Reports
• Collaborating with Business/ Application teams to improve system performance
• Assume primary responsibility as Performance Testing SPOC
• Relevant certificates like ISTQB will be an added advantage
