Job Purpose

The Performance & Incentive Analyst will own the end-to-end performance incentive governance framework across the organization. This role is responsible for designing and administering KRAs, coordinating monthly self-appraisals, validating reported performance, computing incentive payouts, and delivering accurate, audit-ready performance reporting. The role will also catalyze process transformation, leveraging Power BI and automation to evolve the performance management process into a scalable, system-driven (XOS-based) model.

Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Framework & KRA Design
  • Partner with leadership, HR, and functional heads to design and refine KRAs, KPIs, and incentive metrics aligned to business objectives.
  • Ensure KRAs are measurable, objective, time‑bound, and incentive‑ready.
  • Maintain standardized KRA libraries, scoring methodologies, and weightage logic across roles and functions.
2. Monthly Performance Cycle Management
  • Own the monthly performance cycle, including distribution of KRAs and scorecards to employees.
  • Coordinate and follow up for timely self-appraisal submissions.
  • Track completion, exceptions, and escalations.
  • Serve as the central control owner, ensuring cycle discipline and governance.
3. Performance Validation & Incentive Computation
  • Validate employee-reported inputs against defined KRAs, supporting evidence/proof points, and system-generated data (where applicable).
  • Identify inconsistencies, overreporting, or data gaps and resolve them in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Compute monthly/quarterly performance incentive payouts accurately and transparently.
  • Prepare incentive summaries for Finance and HR sign-off.
  • Prepare performance incentive reports, scorecards, and leadership dashboards.
  • Deliver insights on incentive leakage or anomalies and support management reviews with clear, data‑backed narratives.
  • Lead the automation and digitization of the performance management lifecycle, including trend analysis.
  • Partner with systems/IT teams to transition the process into an XOS-based or workflow‑driven model to reduce manual intervention, improve auditability, and enhance scalability.
4. Governance, Controls & Documentation
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for SOPs, control checks, and exception handling mechanisms.
  • Support internal reviews, audits, and leadership queries related to incentives and performance data.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, HR, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in performance management, incentive analysis, or related roles.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI (strongly preferred).
  • Exposure to automation tools, workflow systems, or analytics platforms is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Strong follow‑up and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Structured, process-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to challenge inputs objectively and professionally.
  • Comfort operating between HR, Finance, and Business leadership.
