Job summary

Copado seeks an exceptional People Operations Specialist based in Jaipur, India, to join our global People Team. You will own critical operational workflows across the employee lifecycle – onboarding, changes, and offboarding across 10+ countries to multi-region payroll coordination and India benefits administration.

You will serve as the operational bridge between global employees, managers, operational departments, payroll providers, and external vendors while keeping local India operations

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in People Operations or HR Generalist roles with global exposure.
• Operational discipline with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Automation mindset to simplify and scale operations using AI tools and system integrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with international stakeholders across time zones.
• Global payroll literacy and understanding of regional leave nuances.
• Experience managing India benefits administration and vendor relationships.
• Hands-on experience with HR platforms, including Rippling.

Responsibilities

• Global Onboarding & Offboarding: set up employees/contractors in core HR platforms and manage end-to-end exit processes.
• Global Lifecycle Changes & Payroll Coordination: handle mid-cycle changes and coordinate monthly payroll inputs across 10+ countries.
• India Operations: main point of contact for India life/medical enrollment and vendor coordination.
• Process Automation & AI-Driven Operations: audit processes and build automated, AI-enabled workflows across systems.

Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional operationally rigorous and solution-oriented People Operations Specialist based in Jaipur, India to join our global People Team. Operating with an AI-native and automation-first mindset in this role, you will own critical operational workflows across the employee lifecycle – from multi-region onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding across 10+ countries to multi-region payroll coordination to India benefits administration. You will serve as the operational bridge between global employees, managers, operational departments, payroll providers, and external vendors while keeping local India operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Onboarding & Offboarding
• Own and execute new hire setups of employees and contractors in applicable core HR platforms (Rippling, Sequoia, Papaya, Upwork, local payroll providers, etc.), ensuring accuracy and completeness of employment and compensation data.
• Own and execute offboardings of employees and contractors, ensuring timely multi-system deactivations, communication of termination notices to relevant stakeholders, and end-to-end execution of exit compliance workflows.
• Global Lifecycle Changes & Payroll Coordination
• Process mid-cycle employment and compensation changes in applicable HR systems and relevant external platforms.
• Coordinate monthly global payroll inputs across 10+ countries, capturing regional nuances like time off, extended leaves, bonuses, overtime, severance, etc.
• Coordinate with Payroll and Accounting monthly Edenred transportation, nursery, and restaurant benefit adjustments for Spain employees.
• Maintain and execute audit schedules of employment and compensation data.
• India Operations
• Serve as the main point of contact for vendor coordination on India life and medical insurance enrollment and offboardings.
• Manage India overtime processing with managers and Payroll.
• Coordinate employees with approved travel vendors for international flight bookings and visa applications and issue company letters for international and domestic business travel.
• Process Automation & AI-Driven Operations
• Actively audit existing People Operations processes to identify friction points, building scalable, automated solutions for repetitive tasks.
• Leverage AI tools and autonomous workflows to reduce manual executions across multiple systems.
• Execute solutions that transform administrative duties to an engineered, agentic workflow system.

Qualifications & Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in People Operations or HR Generalist roles, with global exposure preferred, in a fast-paced technology or global SaaS environment.
• Exceptional operational discipline with a track record of managing recurring deadlines.
• An operational mindset that continuously seeks to automate, streamline, and scale operations using modern AI tools and system integrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication to seamlessly interact with international stakeholders across time zones.
• Global payroll literacy and an understanding of regional leave nuances.
• Experience managing local India benefits administration and vendor relationships.
• Hands-on experience with managing multiple HR platforms, including Rippling.
• Proven experience using modern AI tools or low-code automation tools to scale routine operational tasks.
