Overview
Our client, world's leading health and safety organization, is looking to engage a Consultant to support the Head of HR in delivering smooth, compliant, and employee-centric HR operations across the employee lifecycle. The role focuses on execution, coordination, and process discipline, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Support onboarding, documentation, background verification, and induction processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS
- Coordinate confirmations, role changes, transfers, and exits
- Support full and final settlement processes in coordination with payroll/vendors
Payroll & Benefits Support
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with internal teams and external vendors
- Track attendance, leave, and variable data and flag discrepancies
- Support administration of benefits (insurance, PF, ESIC, gratuity, reimbursements)
- Assist in resolving payroll and benefits-related employee queries
Statutory Compliance & Governance
- Support compliance activities related to PF, ESIC, PT, Shops & Establishments, etc.
- Maintain statutory documentation and trackers
- Assist during audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
- Support implementation of HR policies and SOPs consistently across teams
- Assist with policy communication and employee awareness initiatives
- Support process improvements and basic automation initiatives under guidance
Employee Experience & HR Support
- Act as the first point of contact for routine HR operations queries
- Support engagement initiatives and employee communications led by HR
- Track and ensure timely resolution of HR tickets and employee requests
HR Reporting & Data Management
- Prepare and maintain HR MIS, trackers, and dashboards
- Support annual HR cycles such as performance processes, increments, and benefits renewals
- Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and documentation hygiene

Capacity: Onsite – Hybrid Model
Duration: 3 Months (with potential to convert to full-time after the contract period)
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation
- Working knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR operations practices
- Comfortable working with HRIS, payroll systems, and Excel
- Clear communication and good follow-through
- Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders and support multiple priorities
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations or a similar role
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred (not mandatory)
- Experience working with external payroll or compliance vendors is an advantage
