Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a diligent accounting professional in Bengaluru to prepare and review daily journal entries and cash reporting, and support quarterly and annual packages. The role involves capital calls and distributions, investor correspondence, and ensuring accurate client portals.

A Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience (CPA preferred) is expected, with strong Excel and Investran skills. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily journal entries and cash reporting, ensuring accuracy and flagging discrepancies for management.
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual reporting packages and financial statements, providing insights and identifying key variances.
• Support capital calls and distributions preparation, ensuring correctness and timeliness for management approval.
• Review and coordinate the preparation and delivery of capital call and distribution notices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and clarity, while addressing potential client or investor concerns.
• Draft and review investor correspondence, responding to inquiries and escalating complex issues as needed.
• Manage client investor portals and ensure information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Take ownership of assigned projects, including special assignments from management, with minimal supervision.
• Mentor or guide junior associates and associates on processes and technical aspects when needed.
