Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a valuation professional based in Bengaluru to lead and execute business valuation engagements, complete write ups, and participate in site visits and interviews. The role requires strong analytical skills, client service orientation, and 3+ years of related experience.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in business/finance/accounting, with MBA/Valuations preferred, and are proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/accounting or related field required; MBA or Master’s in Valuations preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience required.
  • CPA, CFA or ASA designation preferred.
  • Outstanding client service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
  • Able to handle multiple priorities, tasks and simultaneous projects.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Determines the purpose, standard, premise, level of value, approaches and methods used in a valuation engagement
  • Completes business valuation write ups
  • Participates in site visits and management interviews
  • Identifies and proposes modifications and opportunities for efficiencies in the business valuation process
  • Participates in professional and community organizations to develop network
  • Leverages technical knowledge and experience to provide effective project management and practice development
