Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a diligent accounting professional in Bengaluru to join our advisory practice. You will deliver accounting services and related consulting to clients, leveraging cloud-based tools and strong GAAP knowledge.

In this role, you will work independently and as part of a team to support month-end close, financial reporting, and client communications, while managing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP/Ind AS and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close and journal entries.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of US GAAP/Ind AS, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank and credit card reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment while also managing responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.
