Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in Coimbatore Campus seeks a PCBA Production Leader with 5–7 years of experience to plan and supervise SMT production lines, manage manpower, and ensure quality and KPI targets across the shop floor.

The role emphasizes machine performance monitoring, line changeovers, training, and coordination with quality, maintenance, and planning teams to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in PCB/SMT production environments.
• Experience in supervising production lines and achieving KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SMT production to daily/shift targets and schedule.
• Supervise line activities including printing, pick & place, and reflow process.
• Ensure proper manpower allocation and line balancing for efficiency.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate for quick issue resolution.
• Ensure correct feeder setup, program verification, and first article approval.
• Track production output, downtime, and achieve FPY and OEE targets.
• Maintain quality by controlling solder defects and misplacements.
• Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and planning teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to ESD, safety and process discipline on shop floor.
• Support quick changeover and minimize line stoppage time.
• Train and guide operators for process improvement and skill development.
• Maintain production reports, shift logs, and traceability records.
