Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited seeks a seasoned professional to lead end-to-end production of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at the Coimbatore campus. You will drive safety, quality and efficiency across module/pack assembly, container integration, and testing.

You will manage production planning, implementation of Lean/Six Sigma, and cross-functional coordination with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Projects to meet delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Role requires BE/BTech qualifications and 7–15 years of experience in production environments.
• Experience leading production planning, manufacturing operations and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end production of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Drive safety, quality, cost and delivery targets across modules and testing.
• Oversee assembly, container integration and electrical integration (PCS, BMS, HVAC).
• Monitor KPIs and drive Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen initiatives.
• Ensure SOPs and quality protocols are followed; perform RCA as needed.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Projects.

Production Planning & ExecutionDevelop and execute production plans aligned with demand forecasts and project timelinesEnsure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materialsMonitor daily/weekly/monthly production KPIs (output, efficiency, downtime)2.
