Job summary

FiNOPS in Pune seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll for domestic and international clients. You will drive accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in every payroll cycle while handling data confidentially.

This role collaborates with HR teams and client contacts to ensure timely processing. Requirements include 2–4 years of payroll experience, knowledge of PF/ESIC/Gratuity, and proficiency with Greytip, Keka or ADP.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of payroll processing experience
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws: PF, ESIC, Gratuity
• Proficiency in payroll software (Greytip, Keka, ADP)
• High level of accuracy and confidentiality with sensitive data
• Good MS Excel skills for payroll reconciliation and reporting

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for multiple client entities ensuring accuracy and compliance


• Manage statutory compliances: PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS on salary


• Prepare and file payroll-related returns and challans within statutory deadlines


• Handle full & final settlement calculations, gratuity, and leave encashment


• Liaise with HR teams of client companies for inputs and approvals


• Generate payslips, salary registers, and MIS reports as required

What We're Looking For

• 1 B.Com / M.Com / MBA-HR or equivalent qualification


• 2 2-4 years of payroll processing experience


• 3 Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws: PF Act, ESIC Act, Payment of Gratuity Act


• 4 Proficiency in payroll software (Greytip, Keka, ADP, or similar)


• 5 High level of accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive data


• 6 Good MS Excel skills for payroll reconciliation and reporting

Good to Have

• Experience processing payroll for international employees or expats


• Exposure to multi-location payroll processing across Indian states


• Knowledge of SAP HCM or similar HRMS
