Lifebridge Group in Bengaluru is seeking a Payroll Expert to oversee monthly payroll across units, ensuring accuracy in salary computation, deductions, and payouts.

The role focuses on compliance, statutory management, HRMS data integrity, SOPs, reporting, and stakeholder coordination to drive efficient payroll operations.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage monthly payroll processing across all units.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in salary computation, deductions, and payouts.
  • Validate attendance, overtime, leave, and shift data from HRMS.
  • Prepare monthly salary registers, bank transfer statements, and payroll reconciliation reports.
  • Manage full and final settlements for exited employees within defined timelines.
  • Ensure timely deductions and payments for PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other statutory components.
  • Maintain statutory registers and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • File all statutory returns and coordinate with auditors and authorities for inspections and queries.
  • Keep up-to-date with labour law changes and ensure payroll policies are compliant.
  • Oversee payroll module within HRMS and ensure data accuracy and system hygiene.
  • Work with HRIS team for automation, integration, and troubleshooting of payroll processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity in all employee financial data.
  • Develop, document, and implement payroll SOPs.
  • Conduct periodic internal payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Establish a payroll calendar and enforce deadlines across units.
  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Generate payroll analytics and dashboards for management review.
  • Analyze cost trends, headcount movements, and overtime patterns.
  • Support budgeting and manpower cost forecasting activities.
  • Coordinate with HR, Operations, and Finance for payroll data and approvals.
  • Support training for HRBPs and unit-level HR on payroll and compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide payroll executives to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Job description

Key Responsibilities-
1.PayrollManagement
  • Administer and manage monthlypayrollprocessing across all units and verticals.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in salary computation, deductions, and payouts.
  • Validate attendance, overtime, leave, and shift data from HRMS
  • Prepare monthly salary registers, bank transfer statements, andpayrollreconciliation reports.

  • Overseepayrollmodule within HRMS and ensure data accuracy and system hygiene.
  • Work closely with the HRIS team for automation, integration, and troubleshooting ofpayroll-related processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity in all employee financial and personal information.
4. Process & Governance
  • Develop, document, and implementpayroll-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct periodic internalpayrollaudits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Establish apayrollcalendar and enforce strict adherence to submission deadlines by all units.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
5. Reporting & Analytics
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annualpayrollanalytics and dashboards for management review.
  • Analyse cost trends, headcount movements, and overtime patterns.
  • Support budgeting and manpower cost forecasting activities.
6. Stakeholder & Team Management
  • Coordinate with HR, Operations, and Finance forpayrolldata, approvals, and clarifications.
  • Support training and capacity-building for HRBPs and unit-level HR onpayrolland compliance practices.
  • Lead, mentor, and guidepayrollexecutives to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and accountability.
