Job summary

ScopeHR Services in Chennai is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage monthly payroll processing, verify attendance, leaves, and deductions, and maintain payroll master data.

You will collaborate with Finance, handle PF/ESI/PT/TDs, generate reports, support settlements for exits, and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
• Strong data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of PF/ESI/Tax deductions.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
• Verify attendance, leave, overtime, shift allowance, incentives, and deductions before payroll processing.
• Maintain and update employee payroll master data in Software.
• Process new joiner, transfer, increment, promotion, and separation payroll changes.
• Calculate and process salary, statutory deductions, and other employee benefits.
• Coordinate with Finance for salary processing, payroll reconciliation, and payment-related activities.
• Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, payslips, attendance, and payroll issues.
• Ensure timely processing of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports, MIS, and reconciliation statements.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and employee documents.
• Support full & final settlement calculations for exiting employees.
• Coordinate with HR/Plant teams to resolve attendance and payroll discrepancies.
• Assist in statutory audits, payroll audits, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure payroll activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
