Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is hiring a Payroll Administrator to oversee end-to-end payroll processing and system management. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payments while handling UK and other regional payroll requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in Australian payroll processing, hands-on SAP/ADP/Workday experience, and a solid grasp of payroll regulations. This role is based in Gurgaon with an emphasis on regulatory compliance and stakeholder

As a Payroll administrator employee will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, managing payroll systems, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

What You'll Do

• Payroll Processing: Accurately and timely process payroll, including wages, salaries, deductions, and benefits.
• Review and validate payroll inputs, including salaries, benefits, allowances, and deductions.
• Process off-cycle payments and manual checks. Prepare and reconcile payroll reports.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with payroll and tax laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll and tax laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate employee records, including attendance, leaves, and personal information.
• System Management: Manage and maintain payroll systems and databases. Assist with system upgrades and fixes.
• Identify and resolve payroll system issues.
• End-to-end payroll processing for UK region
• Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations
• Handling payroll queries and stakeholder coordination
• Managing payroll reports, reconciliations, and audits
• Training and Support: Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees.
• Explain payroll policies and procedures to employees.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Australian payroll processing
• Hands-on experience with SAP, ADP, and Workday
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, compliance, and statutory requirements
• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing, reconciliations, and reporting
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Should be comfortable to work in afternoon shift.
