Job summary

Audi India's Parts & Accessories division seeks a meticulous assistant to support the Parts Manager in ensuring availability of parts and accessories and maintaining high service standards at the Mumbai dealership.

The role involves stock forecasting, receiving items from suppliers, inspecting for damages, maintaining the inventory, and securing stock movement, with emphasis on accurate record-keeping and coordination with Audi India.

Responsibilities

• Stock maintenance & forecasting
• Create parts & accessories requirement forecast & indent plan
• Create and track status of parts and accessories order (VOR or Emergency Parts request) whether in transit or in stock
• Receive parts and accessories from transporters
• Inspect and report for damages and shortages in stock received
• Maintenance of physical inventory at the dealership stockyard
• Security of the stock and safe and damage free movement of vehicles
• Record keeping of all physical movement of inventory to and from the stock yard or inter warehouse transfer
• Maintain & monitor parts room upkeep
• Send stock billing request to Audi India & other vendors

Job description

The Parts & Accessories Assistant acts as a key contributor to the Parts and Accessories business by supporting the Parts Manager in ensuring availability of required parts and accessories. The Parts & Accessories Assistant also contributes to effective management of the parts inventory so as to minimize stock outs and helps the workshop to maintain the highest level of service standards in conformance to Audi India.

Stock maintenance & forecasting
