Job summary

RGBSI Chennai is seeking a Paint Layout Engineer with 3+ years of experience in automotive plant layouts to contribute to BIW/GA/paint line projects. The role is on-site (WFO) in Chennai with a full-time setup.

You will drive end-to-end model work, leverage plant simulation tools like Technomatix, and apply industrial engineering practices to digital manufacturing initiatives. Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, and Navisworks is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive plant layout.
• Experience with BIW/GA/paint lines in OEM environments.
• Familiarity with end-to-end model development and digital manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Create plant layouts for BIW/GA/paint lines for OEMs.
• Lead end-to-end development of new model cycles.
• Develop simulations using Technomatix and related tools.
• Apply industrial engineering concepts to enterprise manufacturing and digital systems.
• Utilize CAD/PLM tools: AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Navisworks.
