Job summary

RGBSI in Chennai is seeking a Paint Layout Engineer to support automotive manufacturing plants with BIW/GA/paint line layouts and end-to-end model development. The role requires hands-on CAD and digital manufacturing know‑how.

You will use tools such as Technomatix, AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks and Navisworks to simulate layouts, optimize material flow and integrate with enterprise manufacturing systems. WFO in Chennai with exposure to OEM environments is expected.

Qualifications

• Worked in automobile OEM; in plant layout for BIW/GA/paint lines.
• End-to-end new model development for at least one cycle.
• Experience with plant simulation software and simulation tools (Technomatix).
• Industrial Engineering & Innovation related to Enterprise Manufacturing Management, Digital Manufacturing Systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize BIW/GA/paint line plant layouts for OEMs.
• Create end-to-end layout models for new vehicle programs.
• Utilize CAD/CAE tools to validate layouts and digital manufacturing workflows.
• Contribute to productivity, safety and quality through layout optimization.
