Job summary

RGBSI in Chennai seeks a Design to Manufacturing engineer with 2+ years of experience to drive design-to-manufacturing interfaces. The role is on-site and focuses on CAD/CAM-based development and paint shop processes.

Must have CATIA-V6, Teamcenter exposure, PLC knowledge, CFD/CAE basics, and familiarity with AutoCAD. Strong problem solving, supplier coordination, and ability to improve process quality are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in design to manufacturing.
• Exposure to CAD/CAM tools and paint shop processes.
• Ability to analyze defects and coordinate with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Design-to-manufacturing interface development and optimization.
• Coordinate with production and paint shop for process improvements.
• Assist in defect root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Should have exposure in Software like CATIA -V6 , Team Centre.
• Sound knowledge in automobile paint shop process with special experience in ED, topcoat line, paint mixing room, Repair touchup line.
• Problem solving & defect root cause analyzing ability, experience in control system, PLC, Effective coordination & handling equipment, and paint material suppliers.
• Knowledge on CFD & CAE basics
• Knowledge on Auto CAD will be added advantage.
