Job summary

RGBSI in Chennai is seeking a Design to Manufacturing professional with 2+ years of experience to work on CATIA-V6/Team Centre within a car paint shop environment.

Role requires exposure to ED, topcoat line, paint mixing room, and repair touchup line, plus capability in PLC/control systems and defect root cause analysis. CFD/CAE basics and AutoCAD are plus points. WFO in Chennai.

Qualifications

• Exposure to CATIA-V6 and Team Centre in design-to-manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of automobile paint shop processes including ED, topcoat line, paint mixing room and repair touchup line.
• Experience with defect analysis, root cause investigation and coordination with control systems and PLCs.
• Basic familiarity with CFD/CAE concepts and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with CATIA-V6 and Team Centre to support design-to-manufacturing activities.
• Apply knowledge of paint shop processes (ED, topcoat, paint mixing, touchup) to production issues.
• Investigate defects and root causes; coordinate with equipment and paint material suppliers.
• Leverage PLC and control-system concepts to optimize manufacturing steps.
• Utilize CFD/CAE basics to support process simulations when needed.
