Job summary

VPadel India in Mumbai is looking for a full-time Padel Coach to deliver high-quality on-court training for individuals and groups at our Mumbai venue. You will plan sessions, demonstrate techniques, and provide constructive feedback to support player growth.

The role requires coordinating with other coaches, organizing drills, and contributing to events, leagues, and community-building activities while promoting a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

Job description

Role Description

The Padel Coach will deliver high-quality on-court training sessions for individuals and groups at our Mumbai venue in a full-time, on-site capacity. Responsibilities include planning and conducting coaching sessions for beginners to advanced players, demonstrating proper techniques, and providing clear, constructive feedback to support skill development. The coach will design training plans, organize drills, and ensure sessions are safe, engaging, and aligned with VPadel India’s coaching standards. Day-to-day tasks also involve assessing player progress, preparing session reports, coordinating with other coaches, and supporting events, leagues, and tournaments hosted at the venue. The role includes promoting a positive, inclusive environment, encouraging player retention, and actively contributing to the growth of the local Padel community.

Qualifications

• Strong Padel or racquet-sport coaching skills, including technical instruction, game strategy, and player development.
• Experience planning structured training sessions, drills, and practice programs for different age groups and skill levels.
• Ability to provide clear communication, constructive feedback, and motivational support to players in group and individual settings.
• Knowledge of sports safety, warm-up and cool-down routines, and basic fitness principles relevant to Padel.
• Professional coaching certification in Padel or related sports (existing or in progress, Padel MBA certification is an advantage).
• Prior experience coaching in clubs, academies, or sports centers; tournament coaching experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability in a full-time on-site schedule, and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to collaborate with international and local coaches, and contribute to events, leagues, and community-building activities.
• Basic administrative and organizational skills for maintaining player records, training plans, and session reports.
• Conversational proficiency in English and local languages; passion for promoting Padel and growing the sport in India.
