Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in Velachery, Tamil Nadu, invites a Warehouse Operations professional to manage day-to-day material flow, stock verification, and dispatch activities. You will ensure accurate receipt, storage and order fulfillment while maintaining FIFO/FEFO and inventory traceability.

Role requires 3–4 years in warehouse operations, SAP/MM and WMS familiarity, and strong MIS reporting, data analysis, and documentation skills. On-site work with safety and 5S compliance expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 4 year Experience with Warehouse Operations Management.
• Qualification: Any bachelor's degree in mechanical / postgraduates in Any.
• Experience in Inventory Control & Stock Reconciliation.
• Proficiency in SAP MM / Warehouse Management System.
• Material Handling & Storage knowledge.
• FIFO / FEFO Management.
• MIS Reporting & Data Analysis.
• Documentation & Record Management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure smooth material flow.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through daily stock verification and cycle counting.
• Ensure proper receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of materials.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO principles and maintain inventory traceability.
• Process warehouse transactions accurately in SAP (MM/WMS).
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly warehouse MIS reports.
• Verify customer orders and coordinate dispatch as per delivery schedule.
• Monitor material picking and ensure correct material is dispatched.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality and Logistics teams.
• Ensure timely GRN, stock posting and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain warehouse layout, storage locations and material identification.
• Maintain 5S standards and good housekeeping within the warehouse.
• Ensure safe material handling practices and compliance with EHS requirements.
• Supervise contract labour and optimize manpower utilization.
• Support audits with required records and drive continuous improvement.
