Job summary

the Sleep Company in India is seeking an inbound warehouse professional to manage daily vehicle planning, unloading, and material receiving. You will verify materials against PO/STO/invoices, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure GRN creation in SAP/WMS per process.

You will identify discrepancies, coordinate QC before storage, and complete putaway with accurate labelling, SKU IDs, and proper documentation. Strong Excel and safety knowledge are required.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in warehouse/inbound operations.
  • Knowledge of SAP / WMS transactions.
  • Basic understanding of PO, STO, GRN, QC, putaway and inventory processes.
  • Excel skills for MIS and daily reporting.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple inbound activities and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and material-handling practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily inbound vehicle planning, unloading, and material receiving.
  • Verify received material against PO/STO/Invoice/Delivery Challan and physical quantity.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, QA, PPC, Finance, and internal teams for inbound activities.
  • Ensure GRN creation in SAP/WMS as per defined process.
  • Identify and report shortages, excess, damage, wrong SKU, or other discrepancies during receiving.
  • Ensure QC/inspection coordination before material is moved to storage.
  • Complete putaway of received material into the correct bin/location within defined TAT.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all inbound transactions.
  • Monitor pending GRNs, putaway, discrepancies, and inbound ageing and ensure timely closure.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team for space availability and storage planning before receiving materials.
  • Ensure proper labelling, SKU identification, palletisation, and material handling.
  • Maintain 100% system vs. physical inventory accuracy for inbound transactions.
  • Prepare daily inbound reports covering vehicles received, GRN status, pending putaway, discrepancies, and ageing.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse 5S, safety, SOP, and material-handling standards.
  • Support internal/external audits by providing required documents and transaction details.

Preferred candidate profile
