Job summary

You will coordinate with CSSD, assist surgeons, manage OT records, and ensure compliance with hospital SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare operation theater for surgical procedures and emergency cases.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operations.
• Arrange surgical instruments, consumables, and OT equipment.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Maintain sterile conditions within operation theater areas.
• Assist in patient preparation and positioning before surgeries.
• Monitor OT equipment and report technical issues promptly.
• Maintain OT records and operational documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with CSSD and healthcare teams for instrument availability.
• Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste according to guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of OT facilities.
• Support emergency surgeries and critical care procedures.
• Monitor inventory of OT supplies and consumables regularly.
• Follow hospital SOPs and OT safety procedures strictly.
• Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
