Job summary

dotSolved seeks a seasoned Oracle S&OP and Demand Management Functional Consultant to partner with business stakeholders and govern the demand-to-supply planning process. You will own end-to-end S&OP, translate requirements into Oracle-enabled solutions, and drive planning maturity across the organization.

You will facilitate governance, lead workshops, and develop training materials while collaborating with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership. 3 days a week hybrid across India locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning with strong functional expertise in S&OP and Demand Management (Oracle Cloud/EBS)
• Deep understanding of demand planning methodologies: statistical forecasting, consensus planning, NPI forecasting, lifecycle planning
• Experience designing and facilitating S&OP governance processes and executive reviews
• Strong business-process orientation bridging requirements and system capabilities

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end S&OP process: demand review, supply review, pre-S&OP reconciliation, executive S&OP meetings
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for Oracle Demand Management and S&OP
• Drive consensus demand planning aligning forecasts, inputs, and market intelligence
• Define forecasting hierarchies, calendars, KPIs, and exception-management workflows
• Lead workshops and design sessions; act as liaison between business users and IT
• Develop training materials and change management for planning processes
• Analyze forecast accuracy and KPIs; recommend process improvements
• Support business case development and ROI analyses

Role Overview:We are looking for a seasoned Functional Consultant specializing in Oracle Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Demand Management to partner with business stakeholders in shaping, streamlining, and governing the demand-to-supply planning process. This role is centered on business process ownership, requirements definition, and driving planning maturity across the organization — translating business needs into Oracle-enabled planning solutions rather than deep technical configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and facilitatethe end-to-end S&OP business process: demand review, supply review,pre-S&OP reconciliation, and executive S&OP meetings
• Partner with Sales,Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership to gather businessrequirements and translate them into functional specifications for OracleDemand Management and S&OP
• Drive consensus demand planning by facilitating alignment between statistical forecasts,sales inputs, and market intelligence
• Define and refine forecasting hierarchies, planning calendars, KPIs, andexception-management workflows aligned to business objectives
• Lead fit-gap analysisand functional design workshops, ensuring the solution reflects industrybest practices and organizational planning maturity goals
• Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical/IT teams during implementation, enhancement, and support phases
• Develop and delivertraining, SOPs, and change management materials to drive user adoption of planning processes and tools
• Analyse forecastaccuracy, bias, and planning KPIs (MAPE, forecast attainment, inventoryturns) and recommend process improvements
• Support business case development, ROI analysis, and planning process maturity assessments
• Provide thoughtleadership on demand sensing, integrated business planning (IBP), andS&OP process design during client engagements or internaltransformation initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years ofexperience in supply chain planning, with strong functional expertise inSales & Operations Planning and Demand Management processes (OracleCloud/EBS environment)
• Deep understanding ofdemand planning methodologies — statistical forecasting, consensusplanning, new product introduction (NPI) forecasting, and lifecycleplanning
• Proven experiencedesigning and facilitating S&OP governance processes, includingexecutive-level reviews
• Strong businessprocess orientation with the ability to bridge functional requirements andsystem capabilities
• Excellent stakeholdermanagement, facilitation, and executive communication skills
• Experience conductingworkshops, requirements gathering sessions, and process maturityassessments
• Working knowledge ofOracle Fusion Cloud SCM (Demand Management, S&OP) is expected, thoughthe focus is on process ownership rather than technical configuration
• Bachelor’s degree insupply chain, Business, or related field; APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or SCORcertification preferred; MBA a plus
