Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead functional delivery for Core HR and Absence modules in Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and perform gap analysis for designs.
• Configure Core HR structures, employment flows, and person management.
• Configure Absence Management including accruals and types.
• Support data migration: templates, validations, reconciliation.
• Deliver end-to-end HCM Cloud implementations: CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment, hypercare.
• Prepare documentation: workbooks, test scripts, specifications.
• Collaborate with global teams for integrated delivery.
• Manage expectations and participate in client-facing sessions.
• Handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Oracle HCM Functional Consultant – Core HR & Absence

Experience: 4-8 years (relevant)

Mode: 6 months Contract

Budget: 1.0L-1.33L per month (depending on experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Core HR and Absence Management. The ideal candidate will have solid functional understanding, configuration experience, and a strong ability to manage client-facing engagements, solution design, and end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementation tasks.

This role includes working closely with global teams, handling multiple tasks, and ensuring smooth delivery across HCM workstreams.

• Configure Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR structures, workforce structures, employment flows, and person management functions.
• Configure Absence Management including accrual plans, absence types, eligibility profiles, and related rules.
• Support data migration activities: templates, validations, and reconciliation.
• Work on end-to-end HCM Cloud implementations including CRP, SIT, UAT, deployment, and hypercare.
• Provide detailed documentation including configuration workbooks, test scripts, and functional specifications.
• Collaborate with technical, functional, and global teams for integrated delivery.
• Manage customer expectations and participate in client-facing sessions.
• Handle multiple priorities and deliver under minimal supervision.

Required Experience & Skills

4-8 years of Oracle HCM Functional experience.

Solid understanding of:

• Global HR processes
• Accrual plans and absence rules
• Workforce structures and HCM foundations

Experience in:

• Full-cycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementation
• Requirement gathering and solution design
• Data migration and reconciliation
• Setup migration and environment management
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to additional modules such as Talent, Compensation, or OTL.
• Understanding of cross-module interactions within Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud quarterly patching and regression testing.
