Job Description

The main 'Manufacturing Process Execution, manufacturing Output & Efficiency Anchor' in each of our manufacturing facilities is the Production Engineer Shop/-Floor Operations, Process Optimisation, OEE & Line Throughput Specialist. Your main responsibility is to plan, direct, optimise, and carry out daily manufacturing operations, line balancing, assembly workflows, and machine cycle times in order to meet stringent volume and delivery targets, while maintenance engineers oversee equipment reliability and quality engineers enforce product compliance. As the 'Guardian of Shop/-Floor Output, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Lean Manufacturing Discipline,' you assume direct responsibility for converting production schedules and customer orders into flawless final products at the lowest possible unit cost.

Key Skills

• Manufacturing Execution & Process Engineering
• Firsthand knowledge of discrete or process manufacturing activities (fabrication, stamping, assembly lines, machining cells, or automated production).
• Work measurement, time and motion studies, takt time computations, line balancing, 5S, SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die), and Kanban systems are all practical aspects of lean manufacturing and industrial engineering tools.

Root Cause Analysis & Bottleneck Resolution

The capacity to quickly identify bottlenecks on the shop floor, carry out 8D/5-/Why root cause studies, and put remedial measures in place during live production runs.

Manpower Leadership & Shift Management

Excellent interpersonal leadership abilities to oversee operator teams, production shift technicians, contract labour, and cross/-functional collaboration with the logistics, quality, and maintenance departments.
