Job summary

Marksans Pharma Ltd. in Goa seeks a packaging operator to run cartonator lines for secondary packaging of pharmaceutical products. You will ensure correct packing materials, track batch numbers, and maintain product printing details as per SOPs.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow strict instructions, and readiness to work in shifts. Experience with cartonator or secondary packaging equipment in pharma manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience operating cartonator or secondary packaging machines in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cartonator machine for secondary packaging of pharmaceutical products as per approved packing instructions.
• Perform machine setup, changeover, and adjustment of machine parameters as per the approved SOP and product requirements.
• Verify the correct product, carton, leaflet, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, and other printed particulars before starting packing operations.
• Perform line clearance before starting a new batch, product, or packing operation, as applicable.
• Monitor machine performance and promptly report breakdowns, abnormal operation, or repeated packing defects to the supervisor or maintenance team.
