Job summary

Marksans Pharma Ltd. in Goa is seeking a skilled blister packing operator to join our manufacturing team.

You will operate the blister packing machine, verify product name, batch details, and packing materials, and monitor forming, filling, sealing, coding and cutting to ensure blister quality. You will perform line clearance, record production output, downtime, and deviations, maintain GMP and safety, and report issues to the Line Officer.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical blister packing operations
• Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to production schedules

Responsibilities

• Operate the blister packing machine as per approved SOPs and Batch Packing Records (BPR).
• Verify product name, batch details, and packaging materials before starting the operation.
• Monitor forming, filling, sealing, coding, and cutting operations to ensure proper blister quality.
• Check blister packs for defects such as improper sealing, missing tablets/capsules, damaged blisters, and incorrect coding.
• Perform line clearance and ensure correct product and packaging materials are used.
• Record production output, rejection, and machine downtime in the relevant documents.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow GMP, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
• Report machine breakdowns, quality defects, and deviations to the Line Officer or Supervisor.
