First Advantage Global Operating Center (GOC) in Mumbai is seeking an Operations Specialist to handle inbound and outbound calls for employment, education and other verifications, delivering detailed reports.

The role requires excellent English, basic computer skills, and readiness to work remotely at night; training and benefits are provided.

• Update reference contact information within database.
• Answer inquiries from candidates and clients about background check status.
• Coordinate with other departments via phone and email regarding verification.
• Transfer calls to appropriate departments.
• Update database and complete verification reports.
• Perform other duties such as setting up client orders and quality checks.

What You'll Do

A successful Operations Specialist will be mainly responsible for answering Inbound and Outbound calls for references, education, credential and employment verification. The successful candidate must have excellent attention to details and must have a high-level of analytical skills to provide a comprehensive report to the client.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Inbound and Outbound calls for employment, education and other references verifications.
• Obtain Verification and references information via phone, fax, mail, etc.
• Investigate and confirm reference credibility.
• Update reference contact information within database.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries from candidates and clients concerning the status of a background check request.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• (Call out to specific organization/school as requested by a client and referees for clarification)
• Coordinate with other departments via phone and email regarding the status of the background check.
• Transferring calls to appropriate departments
• Update database and complete verification report.
• Other duties may be required such as:
• Setting up client orders
• Completing database check
• Work allocation duties
• Quality checks

What You Will Need to be Successful

Experience doing Inbound calls/transactions is recommended (but not required). What You May Need to be Successful: Requires excellent command on the English language and can handle conversational interviews. Proficiency on basic computer applications, e.g. Microsoft office and Web browsers Must be amenable to work remotely in the Night Shift and/or shifting schedules. Willing to work on a NIGHT SHIFT schedule
