Job Role
We are building a digital learning ecosystem around Open Sikhiya and ERPNext. We are looking for an Operations Manager who can take ownership of the day-to-day execution that keeps these platforms, teams and processes moving.
This is primarily an operations role.
Around 85–90% of the role is operational coordination, follow-up, support, process management and execution. Around 10–15% is basic technology/platform administration and issue triage. You do not need to be a developer — you need to be comfortable with technology and know how to resolve things.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily operational coordination for Open Sikhiya and ERPNext.
- Live class readiness, scheduling coordination, attendance follow-up and post-class closure.
- Course, batch and recorded-content operations on Open Sikhiya.
- Student and faculty coordination for routine platform and operational issues.
- ERPNext helpdesk coordination, ticket tracking and follow-up with respective owners.
- Data and workflow follow-up to ensure records, approvals and processes move on time.
- Cross-functional follow-up across Academic, Faculty, Students, Operations and Technology teams.
- Daily/weekly trackers, status reports, pending-action lists and escalation summaries.
- SOPs, checklists and simple process improvements for recurring activities.
- Escalation of genuine technical issues with enough information for the technology team to act quickly.
Daily Activities
- Start with the operational priorities: classes, users, pending actions, tickets and critical dependencies.
- Coordinate with the right people and make sure actions have clear owners and timelines.
- Follow up until work is actually completed — not just until someone says they will do it.
- Handle routine LMS/ERP issues independently and elevate only when specialist support is required.
- Keep trackers and reports updated so management has visibility without having to ask for every update.
- Spot recurring issues and suggest a better process, checklist or automation.
- Prepare a concise daily/weekly update covering completed work, pending items, risks and support required.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a dependable operator and problem-solver, not a pure technical specialist.
The strongest candidate will be someone who enjoys making things happen, is comfortable with follow-ups, and can work independently without constant direction.
- You naturally take ownership and close the loop.
- You are highly organized and strong at follow-up.
- You can manage several priorities without losing track of details.
- You communicate confidently with faculty, students, managers and technical teams.
- You are comfortable using technology even if you are not a developer.
- You can learn new platforms quickly and are willing to understand how systems work.
- You remain calm when classes, users or operational activities need immediate attention.
- You notice gaps before they become bigger problems.
- You prefer solving problems rather than explaining why they are someone else's responsibility.

Good To Have
- Experience with an LMS, ERPNext, CRM, helpdesk or SaaS platform.

- Basic understanding of integrations, APIs or software workflows.
Key Success Criteria
- Live classes and platform activities are prepared and followed through reliably.
- Pending actions, tickets and dependencies are visible and actively managed.
- Faculty and users know where to go for support and receive timely responses.
- ERPNext and Open Sikhiya operational data remain accurate and up to date.
- Technical issues reach the right team with proper information instead of becoming open-ended escalations.
- Recurring problems reduced because the underlying process improves.
