Job summary

Wipro in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking an experienced non-voice insurance operations leader to manage a large team and drive SLA performance.

The role requires deep UK Life and Pension domain knowledge, coaching capability, strong ownership, and the ability to coordinate across internal and external teams to resolve complex customer queries.

Qualifications

• Must have managed a team of 80–100 associates in insurance/operations.
• Deep knowledge of products and full policy lifecycle.
• Ability to coach new starters and provide regular feedback to seniors.
• Strong ownership, accountability, and organizational skills.
• Experience in meeting and managing SLAs; coordinate with internal/external teams.
• Maintain professional conduct with clients; adhere to SOPs and sign-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a large non-voice insurance operations team in UK Life and Pension domain.
• Drive SLA attainment, monitor queues, and resolve escalations with timely updates.
• Coordinate across internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide performance feedback to supervisors and share critical information with the team.

Job description

• Must have managed a team of minimum 80 to 100 associates
• Must have an excellent knowledge of different products and entire life cycle of a policy
• Help with coaching new starters and provide regular feedback to supervisor/Manager. In addition, share any important information with the team (event specific, system related, client related) to develop the team and increase its efficiency
• Self-motivated, team player, ownership, accountability, organizational/prioritization skills, proactive, ability to multitask, ambitious, independent
• Manage SLAs, team queries and ensure smooth operations
• Liaising & coordinating with various Internal & External teams on different type of queries
• Must take accountability of all outstanding items and need to coordinate/escalate to resolve the open issues
• Must maintain a cordial and professional behavior with internal/external clients. Adherence to SOP's, update any changes, timely review and Signoff

Qualifications and Experience

• Any Graduate with 9 to 14 Years of work experience in NON-Voice Operations for Insurance Domain
• Candidate Should have Domain experience of UK Life and Pension
• Candidate Should have worked with UK Customer
