Operations Manager – Last Mile & Warehouse

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our last mile delivery and warehouse operations. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong academic background—preferably an MBA from tier 1 Institute—and proven experience in logistics and operations management.

Key Responsibilities

• Global Operations Leadership: Oversee and manage last mile delivery operations across all Global cities, ensuring efficiency, timely deliveries, and superior customer experience.
• Warehouse Management: Oversee inventory planning and warehouse efficiency.
• Warehouse Management: Ensure operations are cost‑effective and compliant with safety and legal standards.
• Last‑Mile Delivery: Design and own end‑to‑end unit cost strategies.
• Last‑Mile Delivery: Manage the complete last‑mile cycle, including 3PL relationships.
• Last‑Mile Delivery: Achieve and maintain delivery SLA success ratios.
• Fleet & Team Management: Improve fleet management practices and optimize operational costs.
• Customer Experience & Collaboration: Enhance customer experience and service quality.
• Customer Experience & Collaboration: Liaise with Finance, Customer Service, and Head Office for seamless operations.
• Operational Excellence / Network Planning / Optimization: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Operational Excellence / Network Planning / Optimization: Monitor production KPIs and perform quality controls.
• Operational Excellence / Network Planning / Optimization: Formulate strategic and operational objectives using financial data to drive profitability.
• Operational Excellence / Network Planning / Optimization: Manage budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships, tracking pricing, rebates, and service levels.
• Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
• Leadership: Make key policy, planning, and strategy decisions.

Requirements & Skills

• 4-6 years of proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in logistics/operations, preferably in an ecommerce setup.
• Solid knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA from tier 1 campuses such as IIT or NITIE or IIMs.
