Head Hunters in Bengaluru is seeking an Operations Manager to build the India entity from the ground up, including establishing a factory operations footprint around 10,000 sq. ft., driving growth, and anchoring the company in the Indian market.

You will lead end-to-end operations, drive BD, and oversee sales, technical support, and customer engagement for FA components, while coordinating with overseas Korean leadership as the business scales.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Operation Head role in FA/industrial automation.
• Experience setting up or scaling operations in India.
• Strong business development and key account management skills.
• Ability to work with overseas leadership (Korean/Japanese).
• Knowledge of Korean language is a plus.

We're Hiring: Operations Manager / Head Factory Automation | Bangalore

We are hiring on behalf of a Korean factory automation company setting up its India operations in Bangalore. The company specializes in Factory Automation (FA) components — including Linear Robots, Cartesian Robots, and Precision Positioning Systems — and counts a key Apple supplier among its customers.

About the Role:

We are looking for an Operations Manager tobuild the India entity from the ground up, including setting up factory operations (~10,000 sq. ft.), driving business growth, and establishing the company's presence in the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end India operations, including factory setup and operational readiness
• Drive business development and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers
• Oversee sales, technical support, and customer engagement for FA components (linear robots, Cartesian robots, precision positioning systems)
• Liaise with the Korean parent company on strategy, reporting, and operational alignment
• Build and lead a local team as the business scales
• Ensure compliance, vendor management, and smooth factory operations

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in a Operation Head role, ideally with a Japanese/Korean MNC or in the Factory Automation / Industrial Automation space
• Strong understanding of FA components — robotics, positioning systems, or related industrial automation products
• Experience setting up or scaling operations in India, including factory/manufacturing setup
• Strong business development and key account management skills
• Comfortable working directly with overseas (Korean) leadership and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Korean Language is a big plus.
