Job summary

Thompsons HR Consulting Pvt Ltd is seeking a Head Operations for our client in Bangalore. The role requires expert oversight of machining and precision fabrication operations with high mix, low volume production, driving performance metrics and ensuring strict QMS and HSE compliance.

The candidate will lead a ~250-person operation, champion CI initiatives, and balance strategic and tactical execution while maintaining ethics and governance on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in Machining & Precision Fabrication operations with high mix, low volume precision industry/production.
• Experience managing and developing supply chain for low volumes high precision parts.
• Strong analytical skills to measure and drive performance metrics.
• Thorough in QMS, HSE and factory compliance requirements.
• Championing CI in Operations, 5S & Lean thinking.
• Efficiently handled a team size of ~250 people.
• Cost minded; value of efforts; governance of shop floor.
• Strong leadership of blue-collar and leadership staff.
• Hands-on in setting up effective review systems and driving performance.
• Strategic and tactical in approach.

Must have Strong Analytical skills to measure & drive performance metrics across
various functions.
Must be thorough in QMS, HSE and all Factory compliance requirements.
Championing CI in Operations, 5S & Lean thinking
Must have efficiently handled a team size of 250 people.
Should be cost minded & very fine thinker of value of efforts.
Strong System oriented approach with meticulous governance of shop floor.
Strong Principles on ethics, People functions.
Must be strong in handling various leadership members as well as Blue collar
workers.
Hands on Experience in setting up effective review systems & drive the
performances.
Must be strategic as well as tactical in approach.
