Job summary

The Flower Puff Girlz is seeking a highly organized Factory Operations Head to lead a new manufacturing facility from the ground up. You will build systems across Production, Supply Chain, R&D, QC, HR, and Finance, guiding the organization through phased setup and ongoing operational leadership.

Based in Mumbai during the initial induction, you will manage infrastructure, SOPs, and the core leadership team while driving lean practices, safety, and governance across all functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing leadership; experience setting up "greenfield" projects is highly preferred.
• Strong system-building capabilities, operational excellence, and financial acumen.
• Ability to manage diverse department heads and build a high-performance culture.
• Willingness to be based in Mumbai for the initial induction phase.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end factory setup and readiness, including infrastructure and SOP creation.
• Oversee daily production, QC/QA compliance, and lean manufacturing.
• Manage procurement, inventory, and outbound logistics.
• Drive product innovation, process improvements, and budgeting.
• Ensure safety, environmental guidelines, and labor law compliance.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized Factory Operations Head to lead the end-to-end setup and management of a new manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for building systems from the ground up and managing all functions, including Production, Supply Chain, R&D, QC, HR, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Phase 1: Setup & Readiness (Months 1–4)

• Induction: Based in Mumbai HQ to master company processes and product lines.
• Infrastructure: Coordinate construction, machinery installation, and factory layout.
• Systems: Document SOPs and workflows for every department before go-live.
• Hiring: Recruit the core leadership team (Production, QC, HR, Accounts, etc.).

Phase 2: Operational Leadership

• Production & Quality: Oversee daily manufacturing, implement lean practices, and ensure strict QC/QA compliance.
• Supply Chain: Manage procurement, vendor negotiations, inventory (Stores), and outbound logistics.
• R&D: Drive product innovation and process improvements.
• Administration: Oversee factory-level budgeting, cost control, HR compliance, and labor relations.
• Governance: Ensure 100% adherence to safety norms, environmental guidelines, and statutory labor laws.
