Job summary

Vikrama Heritage Resort | Pavagadh is seeking an on-site Operations Manager to oversee daily resort operations across front office, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance. You will manage staff schedules, coordinate interdepartmental communication, and monitor service quality and guest feedback to ensure exceptional experiences.

The role requires implementing SOPs, ensuring safety/hygiene compliance, and optimizing resources for cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality operations management with focus on guest service and quality control.
• Leadership and supervision of on-site teams; shift planning and performance management.
• Ability to coordinate daily front office, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance to ensure cross‑departmental collaboration.
• Budgeting, inventory control, vendor management, and cost monitoring to support efficient operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to address guest concerns professionally and resolve conflicts.
• Organizational and problem‑solving skills to prioritize tasks and implement procedures.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems, office software, and reporting tools for performance updates.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• On-site management experience and knowledge of local regulations, safety norms, and hygiene protocols are beneficial.

Role Description The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily resort operations to ensure smooth functioning across front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. This full-time, on-site role includes managing staff schedules, coordinating interdepartmental communication, and monitoring service quality and guest feedback. The Operations Manager will implement standard operating procedures, ensure compliance with safety and hygiene norms, and optimize resource use to maintain cost-effective operations. The role also involves handling vendor relationships, supporting budget planning, resolving operational issues quickly, and helping drive continuous improvement in guest experience and staff performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality operations management, ideally in hotels or resorts, with a strong focus on guest service and quality control.
• Skills in team leadership, staff supervision, shift planning, and performance management to guide and motivate on-site teams.
• Ability to manage daily front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance processes, ensuring coordination between departments.
• Competence in basic budgeting, inventory control, vendor management, and cost monitoring to support efficient operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to address guest concerns professionally and support conflict resolution.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks, implement procedures, and respond promptly to operational challenges.
• Comfort with using hotel management systems, office software, and reporting tools to track performance and prepare operational updates.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
