Trufrost And Butler, a leading supplier in the commercial kitchen and refrigeration sector, seeks a Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end movement of products from warehouses to dealers, distributors, customers, and project sites.

You will coordinate with Sales, Service, Warehouse and Finance to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and proper documentation across India, while driving route and transporter optimizations.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of logistics or supply chain experience.
• Experience in B2B manufacturing, commercial equipment or project-based businesses.
• Pan-India logistics management experience.
• Proficient in GST, e-way bills and dispatch documentation.

Role Overview

The Logistics Manager will manage the end-to-end movement of products from warehouses to dealers, distributors, customers and project sites, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, proper documentation and effective coordination with Sales, Service, Warehouse and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily dispatches and deliveries across India, including equipment, spares and accessories.
• Plan transportation based on delivery priority, destination, product size, urgency and cost.
• Coordinate with Sales and Project teams to meet customer and project delivery schedules.
• Manage deliveries of heavy, fragile and high-value equipment and ensure appropriate transportation and packaging.
• Identify, manage and negotiate rates with transporters and logistics partners.
• Monitor transporter performance, delivery timelines, freight costs and transit damages.
• Track shipments from dispatch to delivery and resolve delays, shortages, damages and returns.
• Ensure proper dispatch documentation, including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans and PODs.
• Coordinate with Warehouse for picking, packing, stock availability and timely dispatch.
• Monitor freight bills and coordinate with Finance for verification and processing.
• Handle logistics-related customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare daily/weekly logistics MIS covering dispatches, pending deliveries, freight costs, damages and transporter performance.
• Identify opportunities for route, transporter and freight cost optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable GST, e-way bill and transportation requirements.

Experience & Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in logistics, transportation or supply chain management.
• Experience in B2B manufacturing, commercial equipment, industrial equipment or project-based businesses
• Experience managing pan-India logistics, multiple locations and transporters.
• Strong knowledge of freight negotiation, GST, e-way bills and dispatch documentation.
• Experience handling heavy, high-value or fragile equipment is an advantage.
• Strong coordination, negotiation, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/CRM systems.

Preferred Industry Experience

Heavy machinery, Commercial Kitchen Equipment, Commercial Refrigeration, Foodservice Equipment, Industrial Equipment, Engineering Products, Appliances or other B2B manufacturing industries.
