Job summary

Worldwide Business Managementoutsourcing is seeking an experienced process-improvement professional to optimize transportation workflows across Dispatch, Work Orders, Driver Planning, and Billing. You will identify gaps, automate where possible, and partner with Operations and IT to translate problems into clear requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in trucking/transportation operations, strong Excel, Power BI, and SQL skills, and proven ability to drive cost savings through data-driven

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in direct trucking, transportation flows, and operational problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience with Transportation Systems, dispatch operations, driver planning, driver pay, work orders, appointment management, customer billing/accessorial charges, and operational reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, APIs, AI-powered productivity tools, or workflow automation platforms and business reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve transportation processes across Dispatch, Work Orders, Driver Planning, Driver Pay, Billing, Yard Operations, and Reporting.
• Identify manual work, duplicate steps, errors, delays, missed billing opportunities, and other operational gaps.
• Identify automation and reporting opportunities and maintain a prioritized process-improvement and automation roadmap.
• Work with Operations and IT to translate business problems into clear system and functional requirements.
• Support process mapping, testing, user acceptance, implementation, and adoption of system improvements.
• Review key operational areas such as driver waiting time, driver pay, accessorial charges, work-order accuracy, driver capacity, empty returns, and recurring reports.
• Measure the impact of improvements through cost savings, recovered revenue, reduced manual work, fewer errors, and improved service levels.
• Build or improve operational reporting using Excel, Power BI, and other available tools.
• Own assigned improvement initiatives from problem identification through implementation and results tracking.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience working with Transportation Systems, dispatch operations, driver planning, driver pay, work orders, appointment management, customer billing/accessorial charges, operational reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, APIs, AI-powered productivity tools, or workflow automation platforms and business reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Operations, Leadership, and IT teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in container transportation, drayage, intermodal trucking, or related freight transportation environments.
• Experience supporting TMS enhancements, digital transformation, or business-process automation initiatives.
• Experience working with North American trucking or transportation operations.
