Job summary

UNIS is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Traffic Control) to lead the daily execution of transportation operations within a fast-paced 3PL environment. You will oversee load planning, driver dispatch, carrier coordination, and service performance to ensure customer satisfaction while driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities include managing dispatch, routing, and shipment execution, monitoring on-time performance, and leading a team of dispatchers and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent transportation experience.
• Minimum 5 years of transportation or logistics operations experience within a 3PL, trucking, or supply chain environment.
• At least 2 years of leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch, routing, transportation planning, and freight operations.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
