Job summary

Smartworks seeks a qualified Facilities Engineer to oversee operations and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and building systems. The role covers DG/UPS, HVAC, chillers, pumps, and energy management within a up-scale facility.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in MEP, PM schedules, and warranty/AMC coordination. Engineering diploma or BE/BTech is preferred, with 3+ years in building facilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical and facility systems incl. DG, UPS, HVAC, PPM and transformers.
• Experience with facility operations, energy management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operations and maintenance of Electrical/Electronics, Breakdown Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance.
• Monitor logbooks and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Prepare checklists for electrical/mechanical equipment and PM schedules.
• Manage DG sets, UPS, chillers, HVAC installations, cooling towers, motors and pumps, HT/LT installations, Sewage treatment plants, water softeners.
• Oversee warranty/AMC management and OEM service vendors; ensure statutory compliance.
• Monitor electricity and water consumption; contribute to energy conservation.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Knowledge in Administration, DG, UPS, Fire Protection, STP, HVAC, PPM, Transformers, Business Operations, LT Breakers and Facility Maintenance


• Operations and maintenance of Electrical/Electronics, Breakdown Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance.


• Well versed in Usage of HK chemicals and its dilution methods


• Ensure proper Work permit for the Planned Preventive Maintenance for the technicians and contractor working in the premises


• Monitoring of all logbooks


• Keeping track of OEM services under warranty management & AMC Management.


• All statutory requirements should be adhered and maintained


• Analyze the Electricity and water bill


• High level knowledge in HVAC towards energy optimization and upkeep.


• Ability to handle machines breakdowns, preventive maintenance.


• Preparing checklist for electrical mechanical equipment and preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule.


• Efficient in failure analysis while ensuring application of best maintenance practices.


• Efficient to work in Electrical and Mechanical Equipments and problem-solving ideas


• Preparing documents for power consumption & conservation.


• Preparing daily, weekly, monthly reports.


• Operations and maintenance management of DG Sets, UPS, Chillers, HVAC installations, cooling towers, Motors and pumps, Transformers, HT and LT installations, Sewage treatment plants, water softener plants


• Monitor & closure of Ticketing

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum Experience required 3 years


• Strong knowledge of maintaining building facility


• Should have hands on experience on MEP


• Engineering/ Technical degree or diploma.
