Job summary

Rainbow Hr Consulting Services is seeking an Sr DC Manager Operations to lead Electrical & Mechanical Facilities across multiple locations, ensuring 100% uptime and optimal performance. You will inspect facilities, analyze data, forecast needs, and drive improvements while coordinating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience in large data centers, with strong HVAC, electrical distribution, and substation knowledge, plus ISO standards exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience managing electrical systems for large campus facilities and data centers.
• Experience with HVAC, chillers, PAHU, CRAH.
• Exposure to ISO 14001, ISO 20001, ISO 27000, ISO 9000, ISAE.
• Knowledge of installation, repair and maintenance of transformers, HT/LT distribution panels, UPS and SMPS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage DC facilities across locations to maintain 100% uptime.
• Risk management and maintenance to ensure 24x7 availability of infrastructure.
• Oversee DC asset and inventory management, security incident handling.
• Create and maintain metrics to drive improvements and respond to contingencies.
• Implement service methodologies including incident, problem, change and capacity management.
• Review AMC and SLA compliance; improve operations to meet service delivery standards.
• Procurement for DC operations materials and budget management.
• Review COLO/DC contracts to ensure SLA achievement and perform day-to-day operations with management.
• Assist in recruiting and deliver exceptional customer service.

Sr DC Manager Operations is a specialist and administrator who manage Electrical & Mechanical Facilities operations at multiple locations and maintenance activities, coordinates facility programs and projects, and supervises building personnel; by inspecting the Critical facility, analyzing building data, forecasting future needs, solving problems, and communicating with others; to ensure the efficient and sustainable operations of the facility and the satisfaction of the facility occupants

Role & responsibilities

• To Lead and Manage DC facilities across locations and maintain 100% uptime
• Risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure ensuring infrastructure is Up and Running 24x7 Infrastructure related state of art tech / practices that creates competitive differentiators
• DC related Asset and inventory management, security incident management
• Create and maintain metrics on all aspects of our DC and utilizing those metrics to drive positive changes.
• Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analysis and identify improvement areas and respond to contingency situations
• Assisting in implementing service methodologies including incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management and reporting.
• Review AMC & SLA Compliance, improving the operational procedures to ensure quality service delivery and customer SLAs.
• Procurement for DC Operations related materials and budget management for the assigned locations
• Review COLO/DC contract compliance & ensure all SLAs are achieved.
• Business interface with COLO/DC Management for day to day operational requirements.
• Assist in recruiting efforts.
• Delivery of exceptional customer service and satisfaction

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• 15+ years experience in managing Electrical systems large campus with multiple tenant of facilities large Data Center
• Exp in HVAC Systems, chillers, PAHU, CRAH
• Exposure on ISO 14001, ISO 20001,ISO 27000,ISO9000,ISAE
• Highly knowledgeable in installation, repair and maintenance of Transformers, HT and LT distribution panels, UPS and SMPS systems
• Knowledge in installation, repair and maintenance of 110KV/33KV/22KV/11KV substations
• Knowledge in installation, repair and maintenance of high capacity DG sets
• Skilled in diagnosing malfunctions with systems and coming up with the right solutions and equipment for the rectification of the malfunctions
• Able to work efficiently with various parts of Electrical equipment including UPS systems and Battery banks so as to meet all needs.
• Highly experienced in carrying out routine and preventative maintenance activities
