Job summary

Zippee in Kolkata is seeking energetic Operations Executives to join our fast-growing Quick Commerce team at our dark stores. You will oversee 2-hour and same-day delivery operations, manage a dark store team, and collaborate with D2C/marketplace brands to expand their presence.

The role is on-site near Kankurga- choor/Phoolbagan, demanding high ownership in a high-growth startup environment with a focus on meeting SLAs and driving profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2-Hour/Same-Day Delivery Operations across dark stores in Kolkata.
• Work closely with Zippee Clients (D2C/Marketplaces/E-Commerce Brands) and support expansion.
• Ensure 100% Same-Day fulfillment and adhere to dark store SLAs (inbound, inventory, outbound, planning, rostering, COD).
• Hire, manage & motivate the dark store team (inventory controllers, pickers, packers, store captains, and delivery riders).
• Weekly inventory audits, COD reconciliation, hiring, & MIS reporting.
• Help create a rockstar culture to scale profitability.

Job Description:

• Zippee is looking for energetic and qualified Operations Executives to join our Quick Commerce Operations team across Kolkata.
• Incredible yet challenging opportunity to work with Operations team at a high-growth Quick Commerce startup to drive meaningful impact.
• This is a high-pressure, zero-handholding, unstructured environment, where no task is beneath you if it moves the mission forward. We move fast, we set a high bar, and were not for everyone.
• This is an in-person role at our dark store, and you must be based near Kankurgachi or Phoolbagan in Kolkata.

Role & responsibilities:

• Oversee 2-Hour/Same-Day Delivery Operations (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Management, etc) across our dark stores in Kolkata.
• Work closely with Zippee Clients (D2C/Marketplaces/E-Commerce Brands) and support them in expansion/growth.
• Ensure 100% success rate in Same-Day Fulfillment & adhere to dark store SLAs such as inbound, inventory management, outbound, manpower planning, rostering, training, employee engagement, vendor partnerships, COD management.
• Hire, manage & motivate the dark store team (inventory controllers, pickers, packers, store captains, and delivery riders).
• Weekly inventory audits, COD reconciliation, hiring, & MIS reporting to Management.
• Help create a rockstar culture amongst the team to scale to profitability.
