Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Mumbai is seeking a logistics professional to manage orders, monitor shipments, and coordinate with warehouses and service teams. You will ensure on-time delivery and handle changes or escalations in a fast-paced APAC environment.

The role requires collaboration across carriers, planning teams, and customer interfaces while supporting continuous improvement and SOP updates. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, international trade, or related discipline preferred.
• Candidates with relevant operational experience in logistics, customer service, or supply chain operations may also be considered.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Monitor and manage customer orders throughout the order lifecycle.
• Review order status and identify processing exceptions.
• Coordinate with warehouses and customer service teams to resolve order issues.
• Ensure orders meet customer requested delivery dates.
• Handle order modifications, cancellations, holds and releases.

2. Shipment Monitoring & Follow-up

• Monitor shipment progress from order creation through delivery.
• Proactively follow up delayed shipments with logistics providers.
• Coordinate ETA updates and communicate shipment exceptions.
• Coordinate shipment investigations and escalation.
• Maintain shipment tracking reports and provide status updates to stakeholders.

3. Invoice Administration

• Create manual invoices
• Verify invoice data accuracy and supporting documentation.
• Ensure invoice creation complies with applicable operational procedures.

4. Regional Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with:
• Customers Supply Chain Teams
• Customers Control Center Teams
• Country Interfaces
• Carriers
• Warehouse Operations
• Planning Teams
• Coordinate operational activities across multiple APAC countries.
• Support issue resolution through email, phone, collaboration tools, and escalation channels.
• Support business inquiries

5. Continuous Improvement

• Identify operational improvement opportunities.
• Support process standardization.
• Update SOPs and knowledge articles.
• Participate in process migration and Knowledge Transfer activities.

Preferred candidate profile

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related discipline preferred.

Candidates with relevant operational experience in logistics, customer service, or supply chain operations may also be considered.
