Job description

Role Location & Travel

This is primarily an Ahmedabad Head Officebased managerial position. The O&M Manager will manage and monitor multiple Ground-Mounted Solar PV plants through site O&M teams, SCADA/remote monitoring systems, MIS and regular coordination.

The candidate will be required to travel to project sites occasionally, depending on operational requirements, including:

• Periodic plant audits and inspections
• Major breakdowns or critical technical issues
• Plant takeover and O&M handover inspections
• Performance improvement assessments
• Client meetings and technical reviews
• Major preventive maintenance activities
• Testing of critical HT equipment
• Investigation of recurring plant faults
• Site team performance reviews
• Emergency situations requiring managerial/technical intervention

Routine day-to-day plant operation and maintenance shall be handled by the respective Site O&M Engineers/Technicians, while the O&M Manager will be responsible for centralized monitoring, technical supervision, performance management and overall control of the O&M portfolio from the Ahmedabad Head Office.
