Job summary

Hero Future Energies is seeking a Site Manager for a 28 MWac solar project in Karnataka. You will lead O&M activities, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with HO and vendors to meet plant goals.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of solar plants, data analysis skills, and effective communication. Prior experience in electrical/renewable sectors is preferred, with 6–8 years overall experience.

Qualifications

• Good technical and operational knowledge of solar plants and installed equipment.
• Strong ability to analyze KPIs and compare projected vs actual performance.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills; able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance activities of the solar project.
• Conduct predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance of equipment.
• Monitor plant performance data and KPIs; ensure data quality and timely reporting to HO.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for Operation and Maintenance activities of Solar project.
• Predictive, Preventive and corrective Maintenance of Various Equipments
• Monitor and Analyze performance data (KPIs) of the solar plant.
• Ensure Quality check of data and reports shared to HO
• Responsible to meet the business goals/KPIs of the plant
• Preparation of Weekly/Monthly/yearly performance analysis reports of the Site.
• JMR/Billing & Invoicing and interaction with local Government authorities.
• Spares and Inventory management of the site
• Coordination with HO and all other stake holders on site related issues to solve.
• Internal Audit point closure
• Coordination with OEM and O&M vendors
• Good knowledge on HV and EHV Systems
• Budgetary control.
• Ensure Quality, Health & Safety on site.
• Ensure data availability and uptime of SCADA
• Ensure the closing of internal/external audit points

Skills Required

• Professional knowledge: Good technical & operational knowledge of Solar plants and the equipment installed in the plant
• Analytical Skills: Posses good analytical skills to analyze the performance of solar project viz projected KPIs vs Actual KPIs.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills, write and speak clearly.
• Computer Proficiency - Good command on MS office, Excel, Power point, etc. and knowledge of various statistical / analytical tools.
• Should have good experience in man management

Experience -

• Preferably from Electrical / Electronic background.
• Should have knowledge and worked in Solar parks / Renewable sector for at least 03 - 04 years. Overall experience of 6 - 8 years.
