Job summary

Confidential Jobs in Mumbai seeks an O&M Engineer to run day-to-day Operations & Maintenance of rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV assets across sites. You will monitor performance and coordinate maintenance, ensuring safety and compliance.

Requires 2–5 years in Solar PV O&M or electrical field ops, hands-on PV modules, inverters and cabling knowledge, and willingness to travel to project sites; safety certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Renewable Energy.
• 2–5 years of experience in Solar PV O&M or Electrical Field Operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of PV modules, inverters, transformers, cabling, protection and monitoring systems.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work in a field-based environment.
• Electrical safety training/certification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimum plant performance and uptime.
• Monitor plant generation, identify faults and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Ensure timely breakdown resolution in coordination with ASCs, service partners and central support.
• Conduct routine inspections, inverter/DB checks, module-cleaning oversight and preventive maintenance activities.
• Track generation against PPA commitments and take corrective action to avoid shortfalls.
• Maintain O&M logs, reports, checklists and compliance documentation.
• Ensure adherence to electrical safety, QHSE and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients/site owners for site access and issue resolution.
• Report generation, site status, incidents and maintenance updates to the Zonal Manager.
