Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute the Operations Excellence roadmap across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, Gemba walks, and problem-solving workshops.
• Establish and drive a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization.
• Standardize best practices and replicate successful initiatives across plants.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, OEE improvement, and cost-reduction programs.
• Drive root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, FTA, CAPA, Pareto analyses.
• Collaborate with maintenance to improve equipment reliability and asset utilization.
• Drive autonomous and planned maintenance initiatives.

Job Description: Operational Excellence Manager

Position Title- Operational Excellence Manager

Reports To- Head of Operations

Location- Noida/Sikandrabad for Multi-site (Agrochemical Manufacturing Plants)

Position Summary

The Operations Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, productivity enhancement, process optimization & digitization, Packaging line automation at both JU Agrisciences & Tropical Agrosystem Pvt Ltd.

The incumbent will lead transformation programs, establish a culture of continuous improvement, develop site capabilities, and deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity & cost.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Develop and execute the Operations Excellence roadmap across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Gemba walks, and problem-solving workshops.
• Establish and drive a continuous improvement culture throughout the organization.
• Standardize best practices and replicate successful initiatives across plants.
• Lead & deploy Lean Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, OEE improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence programmes.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methodologies such as, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, CAPA, Pareto Analysis etc.
• Partner with maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and asset utilization.
• Drive autonomous maintenance and planned maintenance initiatives.

Manufacturing Performance Improvement

• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), plant utilization, and throughput.
• Drive reduction in production losses, waste, rework, cycle times, and changeover times.
• Lead bottleneck analysis and capacity improvement initiatives.
• Identify and implement process optimization, digitization & automation opportunities in formulation, packaging, and utility operations.
• Monitor and improve key operational KPIs.

Performance Management

• Develop plant performance dashboards and management systems.
• Track and report operational excellence KPIs.
• Conduct regular reviews with plant leadership teams.

Capability Building

• Train and mentor employees on Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, TPM, and problem-solving tools.
• Develop site champions and improvement leaders.
• Build a structured continuous improvement training framework.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all improvement initiatives fully comply with EHS, process safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support initiatives that improve process safety, product quality, and environmental performance.
• Promote a zero-harm culture through disciplined execution of operational excellence programs.

Required Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, Production Engineering, or related discipline.
• Master's Degree (MBA / Operations Management) preferred.

Experience

• 10-15 years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement leadership roles.
• Proven experience implementing operational excellence programs across multiple mid-sized agrochemicals, chemical, specialty chemical, or process manufacturing plants.
• Demonstrated success in delivering measurable cost savings, productivity improvements, and operational performance gains.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and large-scale transformation projects.
